Position Summary

LumiGrow is looking for a seasoned Senior Account Executive to find business opportunities, manage customer relationships and leverage existing knowledge of the greenhouse or Cannabis market to expand our customer base and exceed sales goals. You will manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal to serving as an advocate for customers within the product organization.

The ideal candidate will be a reliable professional able to achieve balance between customer orientation and a results-driven approach, using consultative and creative sales skills.

Essential Job Functions
  • Unearth new sales opportunities through cold calling and networking, following up by phone and email for inbound leads, and turning them into long-term partnerships
  • Research current accounts, identify key players, and generate interest
  • Write clear, precise lighting proposal reports with the goal of selling products to large-scale grow operators
  • Demonstrate the ability to negotiate agreements, develop high-value contracts, close sales, and achieve quarterly quotas
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory, and record sales and communication via Salesforce
  • Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas
  • Perform effective online demos to prospect
Position Requirements
  • Degree in CS, EE, Horticulture, Agriculture, Economics or Math
  • 8-10 years of sales experience with well-organized and documented quota attainment
  • 5+ years hands-on cannabis, horticulture, botany, agriculture and/or greenhouse/indoor growing experience
  • 1+ year experience and strong curiosity for the future of controlled environments agriculture
  • 2+ years in small start-up environment acting in a leadership capacity
  • Experience within the Cannabis Industry required
  • Experience within the Lighting Industry a plus
  • Track record of closing complex +$1 million opportunities with multiple stakeholders and channel partners
  • Proposal writing experience, and creative, site-specific, non-conformity related deal closing
  • Ability to effective manager short term and long-term pipeline using Salesforce
  • Ability to travel frequently, at possible short notice and up to 50% of the time with some international travel
  • Ability to quickly ramp-up with respect to customer’s applications and related needs
  • Ability and desire to gain in-depth knowledge of LumiGrow’s products

Position Summary

LumiGrow is looking to welcome an enthusiastic and effective Warehouse Lead to our team. A successful candidate for this opening must be willing to wear multiple hats in a fast paced, hands on environment, and willing to complete any task as needed. Working hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, with occasional need to stay late.

The Warehouse Lead will be the single point of contact for our warehouse location and be responsible for ensuring all activities there are safe and running smoothly, including but not limited to:

  • General warehousing
  • Shipping/receiving
  • Inventory control
  • Return Material Authorization program oversight
Essential Job Functions

General Warehousing and Warehouse Management:

  • Manage all daily warehouse operations in compliance with all EH&S regulations, OSHA, and local regulatory requirements
  • Maintain work area condition (i.e. housekeeping, product in correct location, quality standards, etc.)
  • Follow and optimize company safety and operational policies and encourages others to do the same
  • Continuously improve the warehouse material flow to accommodate different products and activities
  • Develop, establish, and implement various material handling policies, systems and procedures
  • Correspond with department leads about anything warehouse related

 

Shipping/Receiving

  • Ensure all shipments sent to/from the warehouse are on time and without delay
  • Support other teams with their shipping needs, including tradeshow shipping support and shipping quotes
  • Manage and execute LumiGrow’s global logistics and customs compliance tasks, including documentation
  • Pack/unpack boxes of material
  • Unloading/loading trucks
  • Box up and build out pallets

 

Inventory Control

  • Cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation
  • Data entry
  • Maintain inventory levels for accurate end of month counts in database
  • Work directly with supply chain manager to acknowledge lead times
  • Work with accounting to manage internal material orders for stock and non-stock item
  • Oversee and manage efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of raw material, WIP, and finished goods

 

Return Material Authorization Program Oversight

  • Oversee the completion of on-site repairs of customer owned products
  • Understand complex and precise electro-mechanical debug, repair, and remanufacturing
  • Maintain inventory integrity and repair history through diligent record keeping and adherence to process
  • Ensure RMA’s are repaired within 72hrs of being received
  • Manage internal RMA repair personnel
Position Requirements
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must be comfortable bending, squatting, reaching high and moving the entire shift

Position Summary

LumiGrow is looking for a Product Manager who can bring exceptional creative and analytical skills to drive forward a best-in-class suite of smart lighting solutions. The Product Manager at LumiGrow is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic and tactical product plans, interfacing with all internal teams and external vendors.  This position will have direct responsibility for our manufacturing and engineering teams, product roadmaps, product positioning, pricing strategy, and go to market plans.

Essential Job Functions
  • Leverage your experience in the lighting industry to develop world-class smart lighting solutions for the horticultural market
  • Define LumiGrow’s product strategy/roadmap through interaction with cross-functional teams and a thorough understanding of customer needs – to iteratively deliver innovative world-class global products and systems to the marketplace, on time and on budget
  • Lead product management activities surrounding: definition of target customers, respective needs and customer value-add considerations, market trends, competitive landscape and product value proposition
  • Work with your Engineering team to establish priorities within budget, determines highest market impact which aligns with overall business strategy
  • Maintain day-to-day contact with key vendors to refine and revise product specifications and implementation details based on LumiGrow’s product development process
  • Manage the product development process, ensuring ongoing tempo across the organization and high-level stakeholders. Own the MRD/PRD process and project management of existing product initiatives
  • Define product features, turning them into achievable requirements and detailed stories
  • Identify opportunities for new initiatives, and develop business plans, product plans, and success metrics to make the case for new product investment
  • Analyze market developments, industry trends, and benchmark competitor products/services to identify competitor’s strengths and weaknesses
  • Select and actively manage key vendor relationships, including contract manufacture, to drive key product development goals
Position Requirements
  • A minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in the LED lighting industry as a product manager with a keen understanding of urgency and timing for launching new products
  • Capable of communicating the business value of technical requests and tasks to technical peers and technical complexities and limitations to business peers
  • Ability to look at a complex industry and break it into clear definable steps that naturally drive focused plans
  • Strong aesthetic design sense, very detail oriented
  • Demonstrated ability to develop innovative designs from blank sheet to finished product
  • Exceptional communication and data analysis skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and navigate complex decision making
  • Above average Excel skills required
  • You love shipping product, and you love to be hands on
  • Detail oriented with the ability to meet deadlines on time under minimal supervision
