BTO Solutions- LumiGrow LED versus High Pressure Sodium (HPS)

This independent study evaluates the effectiveness of high output LED lighting for growth of butter lettuce in a controlled growth environment. The study compares the LumiGrow ES330 LED solution (330 Watt) against Eye Hortilux HPS bulbs (600 Watt). BTO Solutions concludes that LumiGrow LED lights are an effective replacement to High Pressure Sodium (HPS) lighting for growth chambers and controlled environment agriculture (CEA).
