How It Works

LumiGrow LumiBulb lights provide the action spectrum of light needed for phytochrome responses, efficient photosynthesis and healthy flower induction. Seventeen Watts of Light Emtting Diodes (LEDs) provide precise, narrow bandwidths in Red (660nm) for plant growth and development.

The LumiBulb lamps require no custom configuration and work in ordinary light sockets (E26 base). Typical lifetime savings are over 4,000 kilowatt-hours of energy per bulb versus an incandescent bulb. In addition, the LumiBulb bulbs produce no infrared, so cooling requirements are dramatically reduced compared to wasteful incandescent and CFL lights.

LumiBulb bulbs are a safe source of light for food and plants because they are lead- and mercury-free, unlike many other lighting products. Both energy-efficient bulbs are rated to last for 50,000 hours and are covered by one of the industry’s best warranties.
